But it seems when we disabled it after the render some weird black square remained. To fix this, we enabled the timecode burn in again and then disabled it. This fixed the issue. Here is a suggestion: Open a new, empty sequence and place in it the clip (or portion of the clip) you are using for your slow down and stop. Let it run at real time.
