Iowa class was best of all in WWII. That hit by Tripitz was cool but very very lucky IMO. Any Iowa class BB in WWII would have, given any Axis ship her azz. Any. Baring something crazy. They were that good and used until the Gulf Wars. BB technology taken to it's highest level by 1944.It is a fun "what if" however.
