Notes: The Carmarthen & Cardigan Railway extended their line from Pencader to Llandyssil on 3 June 1864. The Manchester & Milford Railway opened their line from Pencader to Lampeter on 1 January 1866. Webb9 juli 2010 · There are at least hourly trains from Cardiff to Carmarthen, and hourly buses on route T1 from there out to Lampeter. Extra services have been put on to Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury, and then it's the same T1 bus to get to Lampeter from there. The buses take around 70 minutes o get to Lampeter from both Aberystwyth and Carmarthen.
