WebSo out of curiosity, I decided to buy both retail and Husky’s 400 yuan batch rep of the black TNF Nuptse Retro 1996 jacket to compare. The results are astonishing! Husky’s logo is very clean, although it has its usual and biggest flaw, the lines at the bottom not lining up. The retail logo looks clean, but the F is hella wonky. WebThe North Face would be the Recon, since it looks like the nebula. It looks like their padding is more comfortable on the straps and back panel, but I'm only guessing. The Surge has a better laptop compartment, but I'm not sold on the frontal pockets. Somebody here had contact with both brands?

WebI’m not a fan of the regular North Face duffel. It was designed back in the 80s for expedition travel, and that shows. In my view there are better solutions now for expeditions, and particularly for what most people use them for - general travel. The Voyager series looks a lot better for that latter category.
